    As announced earlier, Siddharth is back with an exciting project which will be directed by Sri Ganesh of 8 Thottakkal fame. Recently, the makers officially launched the film with a puja ceremony and unveiled the cast members in a series of social media posts. The upcoming film, tentatively titled Siddharth 40, is bankrolled by Arun Viswa of Shanthi Talkies, who previously helmed the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Maaveeran. This movie marks the maiden collaboration between Siddharth and director Sri Ganesh. 

    The makers took to their social media handles to share puja pictures featuring the lead cast and technicians kick-starting the project at the auspicious ceremony.

    Taking to social media, the makers announced that actor Sarath Kumar will be a part of the film, making this announcement on the actor’s birthday. Joining Sarath Kumar are Kannada actress Chaithra Achar, Good Night-fame actress Meetha Raghunath, and Devyani, who will be playing key roles in the film. Notably, Kannada actress Chaithra, who mesmerized the audience with her performances in films such as Toby and Sapta Saagaradaache Ello - Side B, is making her Tamil acting debut in this Siddharth-starrer. More details about their characters will be revealed soon.

    When the film was announced earlier, leading man Siddharth expressed his excitement about working with the young talents of the industry. “I am happy to be working with the young and promising minds of our industry, who have a compelling vision to deliver content that caters to the tastes of universal audiences,” the actor said about his 40th film.

    After the success of Chithha, Siddharth is on a mission to maintain his winning streak with a few exciting projects ahead.

    The star also expressed his desire to be part of films with a "neat impact." “I listened to several scripts, and the one narrated by Sri Ganesh excited me. A producer’s delight is always about making movies that leave a neat impact on the audience. I felt those vibes with Arun Viswa, whose vision to create interesting movies amazed me,” he said.
