As she completed the milestone of 15 years in the film industry, Shruti Haasan took to social media to share a heartfelt note reflecting on her journey. The multi-talented actress and singer expressed her gratitude and love for the magical world of cinema that has been a significant part of her life since childhood.

"15 years !!! I can't believe it sometimes :) always thankful to be in the movies . The same magical world I grew up in ,i get to play in for the rest of my life - what a blessing . Thankful for all those who taught me beautiful lessons and the audience ofcourse! Without you there is no this version of me Lots of love , Shrutz," said Shruti Haasan.

Shruti comes from one of the most powerful clans in the Tamil film industry. Her father, Kamal Haasan, and mother, Sarika, are both highly accomplished artists. Following in the footsteps of her parents, she took to acting like a fish to water. Although her entry into the film industry was a piece of cake due to her industry connections, she didn't find success as easily as her debut movie.

Shruti played a small part as a child artist in Kamal's cult classic Hey Ram in 2000. She made her acting debut as an adult with the 2009 Hindi movie Luck. However, that movie was a dud both critically and commercially. She found solid appreciation for her performance in the 2012 romantic tragedy 3, where she shared screen space with Dhanush.

Since then, she has carved a niche for herself with her versatile performances in various languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. Some of her notable works include Gabbar Singh, Srimanthudu, and Vedalam to name a few.

Beyond her acting career, Shruti Haasan is also an accomplished singer and musician. Her musical journey started early, and she has contributed her voice to several film soundtracks. She has also intensified her efforts to produce independent songs and music. Recently, she collaborated with her father, Kamal Haasan, on the music video Inimel, in which she shared screen space with director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Shruti has a slew of big-budget movies in production, including Salaar 2, Dacoit: A Love Story, and Coolie, starring Superstar Rajinikanth.
