Shang-Chi Director Destin Daniel Cretton is going to helm Avengers: The Kang Dynasty

Fresh from the announcement of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty , Marvel Studios has confirmed that Shang- Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton will be directing the project.

While the movie is still a ways off, this is major news coming from the studio considering the short gap between the movie's announcement and this.

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will introduce a new version of Earth's mightiest heroes to the big screen, it will be interesting to see what new heroes will be featured and which of the originals still remain.

We should know more when the fifth phase of the MCU kicks off with Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania next year.

Shan-Chi was a surprise hit for Marvel and was well received by fans and critics alike hopefully, Destin Daniel Cretton can create the success.

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is scheduled to be released on May 2, 2025.
