Shahid Kapoor to headline a unique love story backed by Dinesh Vijan

Shahid Kapoor has bagged his next project with Maddock Film’s Dinesh Vijan . The film is touted to be the biggest love story being made by the production house. The pre-production has begun and the project will be shot in India and multiple European countries. The official announcement will reportedly be made soon.

The upcoming film will mark the first collaboration between Shahid and Dinesh. While Dinesh has a huge slate of films releasing in 2022 and 2023. The producer has begun working on his next project which will be a unique love story. Shahid is signed as the lead actor while the casting of the female lead is underway. The director is yet to be revealed although the team has started doing the recee for the project, reported Pinkvilla.

Shahid has brilliantly pulled off the lover boy characters in most of the films over a long span of his career. Most recently, he hit the ball out of the park in Sandeep Reddy Vanga ’s Kabir Singh with his portrayal of a flawed character. Hence, the upcoming love story may turn out to be a game changer for the actor as his last film Jersey could not do well at the box office. Reportedly, the actor picked this project after Jersey’s release in April.

Meanwhile, Shahid has recently finished shooting for an untitled action thriller with director Ali Abbas Zafar . The film is said to be the Hindi adaptation of the French film Nuit Blanche. And Shahid plays the role of a cop who is chasing drug lords across the city. Apart from this, he is foraying into digital space with Raj and DK’s Farzi , which is supposedly set in the world of counterfeit money. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Raashii Khanna in key roles.
