Well, according to recent report, Aashiq Abu had met and discussed an idea with Shah Rukh but the story will take time to develop. As speculated the script is being looked after by the National Award winning writer Syam Pushkaran.

The project has been proceeding at a slow pace owing to the pandemic and has also caused many diversions in Shah Rukh’s schedule since the star and Aashiq last discussed the project.

This collaboration will take its own sweet time to work out. For now, Aashiq Abu is looking forward to the release of his next Malayalam outing Naaradan featuring Tovino Thomas which arrives in cinemas in March.

The star will reportedly take up filmmaker Rajkummar Hirani’s immigration drama next which has also been delayed due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic.
