Shah Rukh Khan reveals Suhana & Aryan convinced him to do action films like Jawan for AbRam: ‘My kids get impressed’
We have Shah Rukh Khan’s children Suhana Khan and Aryan Khan to thank for his back to back action films. Here’s why
For the longest time, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been celebrated as the king of romance. Every time he shined on screen we rooted for him to get the girl while he made our hearts skip a beat with his charm. He set goals for boyfriends and husbands much before we even knew it was a thing. In Pathaan, which was his last release, we witnessed his evergreen charm once again opposite Deepika Padukone. But it was the killer action sequences which left us wanting more. After setting the box office on fire, SRK is now returning with another action entertainer– Atlee Kumar’s Jawan.
Ahead of the release, SRK and his co-star Vijay Sethupathi surprised fans with a special video answering 7 questions about Jawan today. When asked what made him sign an action film, Shah Rukh revealed, “I'll tell you the real reason, why I do it. One day my elder son and my daughter, they told me that you have to do films which are very cool for the youngest, AbRam. And I thought the only cool thing he likes is all these anime, animation and action films so I decided to be a superhero. Then I thought I don't look good in spandex. So without getting into a spandex I got into bandages. And that's why I did this action film.”
He smiled and went on to add, “So honestly I do action films because my kids get very impressed, that I am doing some cool things, have six pack abs and stuff like that.” The superstar further stated that there is no other reason why he should do action films. In the video, which is currently winning hearts, Vijay also revealed that for him and his character, Shah Rukh is the real villain of Jawan. Now that has definitely left us intrigued!
Also starring Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra with Deepika in a special appearance, Jawan is all set to arrive in theatres on 7th September. Have you booked your tickets yet?
