Saripodhaa Sanivaaram poster: Meet Charulatha aka Priyanka Arul Mohan from Nani-starrer

The makers of Nani’s upcoming thriller Saripodhaa Sanivaaram have been dropping back-to-back updates recently and keeping hype around the film. In the latest development, the makers took to their social media handles to share the first-look poster of Priyanka Arul Mohan from the upcoming Nani-starrer.

The new first-look poster introduces the actress as ‘Charulatha' or Charu, who is seen in a constable’s outfit. It looks like the actress will be essaying the role of a cop in the new film. The poster has generated a lot of excitement among fans, who cannot wait to witness the chemistry between Nani and Priyanka Mohan’s character.

Earlier, the makers had unveiled the second-look poster of Nani from the film. Unlike the aggressive and intense first-look poster, the second look showcased a calmer version of Nani. Calling the new look the ‘calm counterpart’ of Surya (the character played by Nani), the makers wrote, “Every raging Saturday has its calm counterpart. Now, experience a new dimension of Surya on other days.”

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram OTT partner

As reported earlier, Netflix has acquired the OTT rights to Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. The film will be available for streaming on the platform after its theatrical release. It will be released in Telugu, along with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, all with the title Surya's Saturday.

Earlier, on Nani’s birthday, the makers unveiled the teaser of the film, showcasing the actor making a comeback to his action hero avatar. The film centers on a man who only unleashes his anger on Saturdays. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram marks the second collaboration between Nani and Vivek, who previously worked together on the romantic drama Ante Sundaraniki. Written and directed by Vivek, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram revolves around Surya, played by Nani, as he transforms into a vigilante superhero to combat injustice. S J Suryah plays a cop in the film, appearing at the very end of the teaser.
