Saripodhaa Sanivaaram: Nani-starrer to break Dasara's advance booking collections in USA, surpasses $200K

Natural star Nani holds a massive fandom across India and in other parts of the globe. The actor, who has several films in the one-million-dollar club, ranks second only to superstar Mahesh Babu in achieving this feat. However, he is poised to break his own record and deliver his tenth one-million-dollar film with his upcoming action drama, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. 

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram advance booking collections in USA

According to early estimates, the film has been witnessing excellent advance bookings in the USA. Currently, pre-sales have already surpassed his previous hit film, Dasara. The last rural action drama, directed by Srikanth Odela, earned around $637K from its USA premieres, setting a massive record for a mid-tier Telugu star. 

Pre-sales for Saripodhaa Sanivaaram's premiere shows have already crossed the $200K mark, with three days still remaining. At this rate, it should be easy for Vivek Athreya's film to surpass Dasara. Based on box office trends, the film is sure to witness a strong attendance and might shatter the previous USA record for mid-tier actors by a wide margin.

The intense and power-packed trailer begins with a young Surya (played by Nani) expressing that his patience has run out, and with no more tears left, he is forced to take action to overcome his fears. The scene then shifts to SJ Suryah's character, CI Daya, a ruthless cop who mercilessly unleashes his anger on others. When Priyanka Mohan's character, a constable, asks another character about CI Daya's brutality, the person explains that Daya primarily targets those born in Shokulapalam, implying that being from Shokulapalam is considered a crime in Daya's eyes. The crux of the story revolves around how Surya protects the people of Shokulapalam from CI Daya's cruelty.

Written and directed by Vivek Athreya, the film features Nani, Priyanka Mohan, and SJ Suryah in lead roles. Besides the lead cast, the film also includes Aditi Balan, Abhirami, Murali Sharma, Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, and Harshavardhan in key roles. On the technical front, Jakes Bejoy has composed the background score and soundtracks, Murali G handles the cinematography, and Karthika Srinivas is in charge of editing.
