Sara Ali Khan is undoubtedly one of the most popular and adored star kids of Tinsel Town. May it be her quirky social media shayari, knock-knock jokes or her famous ‘Namaste’ pose for the paparazzi. But most of all, Sara is loved for the way she lives her characters on-screen. Proof of the same was her debut film Kedarnath and Simmba, which released a few weeks later. Her next two films sadly failed to impress the audience but fans once again got to witness the same fire in Sara in her recently released romantic drama, Atrangi Re .

In a chat with Mid Day, Sara shared, “I want to work on films which are as [unique] as Atrangi Re. None of my films should have anything in common. I want to live different lives.” The actress went on to add, “When things don’t work, you lose a bit of your confidence. After Kedarnath and Simmba, I was put on a pedestal that I wasn’t sure I deserved. After Love Aaj Kal , I was dragged down brutally. But, I love social media, regardless. I can’t change how people think. So I work on myself instead.”

Currently Sara is busy shooting for her upcoming project in Madhya Pradhesh. She will be sharing the screen for the very first time with the handsome and supremely talented Vicky Kaushal in this film. The two had earlier joined hands for Aditya Dhar ’s mythological based superhero movie The Immortal Ashwatthama, but the film was later pushed indefinitely.
