    It's official! Prabhas has officially commenced shooting for Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam, directed by Prashanth Neel. The makers have officially begun the filming of the movie, with leading man Prabhas joining the sets after a break to celebrate his birthday on October 23. The new sequel continues from where it ended in the first installment and promises to be an even more enthralling action thriller that fans of the rebel star are eagerly awaiting!

    According to sources, Prabhas will be shooting for a 20-day schedule. The film will see him share screen space once again with Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran and will narrate a gripping story about redemption, revenge, and power struggles in the world of Salaar.

    Salaar 1, which grossed over ₹700 crore at the box office, was a roaring success, and naturally, fans are eagerly awaiting its exciting sequel to hit the big screen soon.

    Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire followed the story of two friends who turned into fierce rivals. The film features Prabhas in the lead role as Deva and Prithviraj Sukumaran as Varadharaja Mannar. The cast also includes Shruti Haasan, Pramod, Tinu Anand, Jagapathi Babu, Eashwari Rao, Shreya Reddy, Garuda Ram, and Naveen Shankar, among others.

    Acclaimed filmmaker Prashanth Neel has two major projects in his lineup: Salaar Part 2 and NTR-NEEL with NTR Jr. For those unversed, Prashanth Neel and Telugu star Jr. NTR’s upcoming project, tentatively titled NTR-NEEL, marks the first collaboration between the actor and the KGF director. According to reports, the film is titled Dragon, although an official announcement is awaited.

    The director is currently planning to balance the production of both films simultaneously. Prashanth Neel is also awaiting the release of his upcoming Diwali project, Bagheera, with Srii Murali, for which the script has been penned by the filmmaker.
