A traumatic night unfolded at the Bandra home of Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan when robbers intruded and, during a late-night break-in, stabbed him six times. The actor, who is currently receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital, is out of danger according to his team and has undergone surgery.
After the shocking news broke, fans and well-wishers of the actor have been pouring in messages for his speedy recovery. Joining them were Telugu star Chiranjeevi and Saif Ali Khan's Devara co-star Jr NTR, who penned heartfelt notes wishing for the actor’s swift recovery.

Expressing 'deep disturbance' over the news, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi wrote, "Deeply disturbed by the news of the attack by an intruder on #SaifAliKhan. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery."
Jr NTR, who worked alongside Saif Ali Khan in the Bollywood star's Telugu debut film Devara last year, wrote, "Shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif sir. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery and good health."
Report from Lilavati Hospital
According to reports, Saif was attacked at his residence in Satguru Sharan building, Bandra West, around 2:30 a.m. by an unknown intruder. He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital around 3 a.m., where it was found that two of his six injuries were more critical. One of the wounds, located near his spinal column, is particularly severe. He is currently undergoing surgery, assisted by anaesthesiologist Nisha Gandhi, cosmetic surgeon Leena Jain, and neurosurgeon Nitin Dange. The full extent of the injury will be determined after the procedure.

Saif Ali Khan's team released an official statement on the matter, which read: "There was an attempted burglary at Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in the hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation."
