RRR fever officially grips Oscars, 'Naatu Naatu' performance receives a standing ovation by the audience

It is officially the RRR fever at the 95th Academy Awards that took place at the Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles. The much-awaited performance in the nominated song ‘ Naatu Naatu ’ from the film finally took place at the occasion and went on to receive a loud cheer and a standing ovation from the audience. Singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava performed the track live on stage while dancer Lauren Gottleib performed in the song.

Talking about the same, many pictures and videos have been going viral from the same wherein one can see the RRR team putting up a stellar performance on stage that sent the crowd into a frenzy. The official social media account of the movie shared a picture that is enough to give goosebumps and pride to any Indian. We can see the entire audience getting up and giving a standing ovation to the dance performance.

The performance was introduced by none other than Deepika Padukone who was super proud while doing so and her words for RRR and the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ was followed by some loud cheering by the audience. Not only this, host Jimmy Kimmel also gave a shoutout to ‘Naatu Naatu’ in the most endearing manner. We can see a group of men wearing similar formal costumes like Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the movie and pulling off the hook steps of the song while surrounding him and they keep on dancing in the track whil making Kimmel exit the stage. Ram Charan looked his resplendent best and opted for a traditional black attire with an ornamented brooch which he paired with matching pants and shoes. On the other hand, Jr NTR looked super handsome in an embellished black Kurta which he paired up with matching pants. Ram was also accompanied by his wife Upasana Konnidela who looked lovely in a cream-colored saree. We caught an adorable moment between Ram and Jr NTR wherein they directly meet at the Oscars red carpet and share a warm hug. They also reveal to the reporter that this is the first time that they are meeting at the Oscars.
