That Rajkummar Rao is a stellar actor, who has always pushed the envelope and has always tried to do roles out of his comfort zone, is something that everyone knows and abides by. With each passing film, Rajkummar Rao has only surprised the audiences and how! His latest release Srikanth is no different.
Ever since the time the film got released, it had been making news and for all the right reasons. Rajkummar Rao, yet again, came out triumph while portraying the role of a go-getter man, who was born with visual impairment. Not just the cinegoers, there were many celebs as well who took to social media and just could not stop singing the praises of the mettle that Rajkummar Rao is made up of.
The latest to join the ‘praise club’ is none other than Akshay Kumar, who, after seeing the film Srikanth, took to social media and showered extreme words of praise on Rajkummar Rao. Akshay Kumar wrote, ‘Nothing is impossible. #Srikanth is a must-watch! Picture dekhke mazza aa gaya." He then tagged Rajkummar Rao and wrote, "bhai ab toh acting ki classes shuru kar de. You are simply brilliant!’
As for the film Srikanth, it is based on the real-life story of Srikanth Bolla, a man who was born with visual impairment, but, with his sheer determination and grit, went onto write history and create history! The Rajkummar Rao starrer Srikanth has been directed by Tushar Hiranandani and has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani. As for the box office collections, the film has managed to collect Rs. 17.90 crore in 7 days. What is really working in the film’s favour is the strong word of mouth publicity.
As per reports, Srikanth will be soon available on the OTT major Netflix, post its theatrical run. Watch this space for developments.
