The wait is over! Tollywood’s Mass Maharaja, Ravi Teja, has officially announced the title of his upcoming film. Taking to social media, production house Sithara Entertainments, which is bankrolling the new project, shared the exciting news, revealing that the film has been titled Mass Jathara.

The makers released a title announcement poster featuring the Telugu star in a stylish pose against a vibrant backdrop. Along with the title and first look, they also announced that the film will arrive on big screens on May 9, 2025. Sharing the new poster, the production house wrote, “Get ready for a Re-Sounding Entertainer! Presenting our 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐌𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐉 @RaviTeja_offl in an out-and-out ‘MASS JATHARA,’ blasting onto screens with highly MASSIVE & EXPLOSIVE entertainment from MAY 9th, 2025. Wishing you all a very #HappyDiwali.”
In the new poster, Ravi Teja is seen donning a casual shirt with a jacket, holding a bell in one hand, and a gun attached to his belt, promising an action-packed entertainer. Check out the new poster here!

Directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu, the film will once again pair Dhamaka duo Ravi Teja and Sreeleela. On the technical front, Navin Nooli is handling the edits, while Vidhu Ayyana cranks the camera for the film. Bheems Ceciroleo will compose the original background score and soundtrack. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film will be presented by Srikara Studios.
Ravi Teja’s last outing
Ravi Teja’s last release, Mr. Bachchan, unfortunately underperformed at the box office. Now, the actor, aiming for a comeback, is pinning his hopes on this upcoming film with director Bhanu Bhogavarapu. Whether the director can help Tollywood’s Mass Maharaja score another box office hit remains to be seen!
