However, the actress expressed her 'regret' about not having a picture with the Raayan star and further wrote, “We don’t have a picture together, and our film shoot mostly happens in areas that are not very photogenic. But I love this poster. So with this, I wish you the happiest birthday.”

    Dhanush’s new poster from Kubera

The makers of Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming film Kubera dropped an interesting poster of Dhanush on the occasion of the actor’s birthday. Sharing the poster, the production house wrote, “Wishing D man of versatility, D man of experiments @dhanushkraja sir a very happy birthday.”

The new poster features Dhanush in a gritty avatar as a homeless man. Although the new poster appears similar to one that has been shared before, the makers are yet to reveal the actor’s second look from the film, which is said to be different.

    About Kubera

As per the earlier leaked plotline, Dhanush’s character plays a dual role in the film – one of a homeless man and another character of a millionaire. On the other hand, Nagarjuna is said to be playing the role of the antagonist, a mafia don from Mumbai. Rashmika also plays a similar shady role and is part of a scam in the film.

Directed by Telugu director Sekhar Kammula, Kubera stars Dhanush in the lead role, along with a stellar ensemble cast of Nagarjuna, Jim Sarbh, and Rashmika Mandanna. Interestingly, the film also marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood actor Jim Sarbh. Touted to be an action drama, the technical crew consists of Niketh Bommi as the cinematographer, while Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika Nigotre have handled the production design. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for the film.
