Ranveer Singh introduces us to his quirky Cirkus family, film to release on THIS date

Ranveer Singh took to his social media handle to share a quirky introduction teaser of the star cast of his upcoming comedy riot Cirkus . The movie marks Ranveer’s second collaboration with Rohit Shetty . The release date of the film is out as well and it will see a Christmas release on December 23, 2022.

Talking about the same, the teaser shows Ranveer Singh’s face being flashed twice as he will be seen in a double role. We see one look of Ranveer being extremely dapper and sporting a mustache as he joins an electricity wire. While another look of Ranveer is quite the opposite wherein he can be seen making a funny and goofy expression. Apart from the Goliyon Ki Raas Leela: Ram Leela actor, we also see Varun Sharma being in a double role in the movie. Take a look at the video.

We then see the leading ladies Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez along with the rest of the star cast that includes Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Tiku Talsania, Siddharth Jadhav, Mukesh Tiwari, Vijay Patkar, Sulabha Arya, and others. The stellar star cast consists of stalwarts from the industry, especially from the comedy genre. Not only this but the trailer of Cirkus will soon be out the next week.

Ranveer Singh captioned the post stating, “Before the trailer drops next week, meet our CIRKUS family.” The film is based on the 1982 film Angoor and the 1968 movie Do Dooni Chaar. These movies were further adapted from the Shakespearean comedy, The Comedy Of Errors. Earlier, a news report in Bollywood Hungama stated that the film’s trailer will be released on December 2 in a grand launch event in the city.

The publication quoted a source that said, “It's a 3-minute 47-second trailer, loaded with comic moments and big scale, with the entire ensemble getting the focus. Rohit has kept a tight campaign leading to release on December 23, and he wants to communicate all that he wants to with the first trailer of the film. He believes to create an impression with the first asset and the ones who have seen the trailer are going gaga over it.”
