Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is unstoppable at the box office. In just five days of release, the film has managed to breach Rs 150 crore collection in India. It will not be unbelievable if the movie enters Rs 200 crore club in the coming weekend considering its pace at the box office numbers.
After smashing the worldwide box chart with Rs 225 crore in the opening weekend, Brahmastra has now collected Rs 150.50 crore on its fifth day in India. The film has amassed Rs 132.50 crore from the Hindi version, while it minted Rs 17.5 crore from the regional languages. Right from Day 1, the movie pulled the audience to the theatres for its extraordinary VFX and powerful performances. The first-day worldwide collection turned out to be Rs 75 crore, taking celebrities, like Kangana Ranaut, and industry insiders in disbelief. They claimed that the box office figures are manipulated by the film’s producers.
On its first Monday, Brahmastra’s collection stood strong, earning Rs 16 crore. On Tuesday, it grossed between Rs 12.75 and Rs. 13.75 crores. Going by the terrific numbers, it is estimated that the Rs 400 crore budgeted film will easily finish its opening week with Rs 170 crore in India and enter the Rs 200 crore club the following weekend.
