    Ahead of the release of Akshay Kumar starrer Raksha Bandhan , the first review of the film is finally out. It seems that the film has managed to impress and touches the chord with its traditionalism when it comes to the plot and performances. The movie is scheduled to be released on August 11, 2022.

    Talking about the same, overseas film critic and analyst Umair Sandhu has recently watched Raksha Bandhan beforehand and it seems that he is mighty impressed with the same. Taking to his social media handle, Umair wrote, “First Review #RakshaBandhan ! It is very desi, very Indian at heart, seeped in Hindustani emotions. It talks of familial bonding. It packs in loads of desi sentiments in those hours.”

    The critic further added that Akshay Kumar stole the show in Raksha Bandhan while Bhumi Pednekar and the actresses who play his younger sisters in the same also gave a lovely performance.     Well, it seems that Raksha Bandhan promises to strike a positive chord with the masses. The trailer and the soundtracks of the movie have also been garnering a lot of praise from the fans. The movie revolves around a brother’s sense of love and sacrifice for his younger sisters.

    In an exclusive interview with Desimartini, actress Sadia Khateeb who plays Akshay Kumar’s younger sister on Raksha Bandhan heaped showers of praise on the superstar. The actress had said, “He made us feel so comfortable and there was no feeling as such of being nervous or intimidated. From day one to the last day of the shoot, I didn't feel like I was working with 'The Akshay Kumar', he was all the time in his character of that of my brother and that's how he made me feel. He was all hearts and he made everyone feel so comfortable. He treated all of us as his little sisters. There was no feeling of being nervous or intimidated.”
