Rajinikanth celebrates viral success of Manasilaayo from Vettaiyan

Superstar Rajinikanth expressed his joy at the success of the song Manasilaayo from his upcoming movie Vettaiyan. He thanked all the technicians involved, including composer Anirudh Ravichander, and credited choreographer Dinesh Master for creating simple yet captivating dance steps that helped the song go viral across the country.

"Anirudh’s music is the primary reason for Manasilaayo's success. And the choreographer, Dinesh Master—he has done a superb job. Also, lyricists Super Subu, Vishnu Edavan, and singers Deepthi Suresh and Yugendran have sung it excellently. My congratulations to them," Rajinikanth told Sun News at the airport, as he was rushing to catch his flight to Hyderabad to join the rest of the Coolie crew.

Rajinikanth had come to Chennai to attend the audio release event of Vettaiyan. The grand event, held at Chennai's Nehru Stadium, featured live performances by Anirudh and was a major success. However, there were some issues with the event arrangements, which left many fans disappointed. Allegations arose that some fans with valid passes were not allowed inside the stadium due to the circulation of fake passes, which resulted in overcrowding. Rajinikanth quickly addressed the issue, urging organizers to pay closer attention to such problems in future events.

"I am happy that the audio launch went well, but I heard there were issues concerning the event passes. I hope the administration corrects it and ensures this doesn’t happen in future events," Rajinikanth said.

The release of Manasilaayo coincided with the Onam festival celebrations, and the song quickly became the anthem of the holiday, sparking countless dance reels on social media. The song’s success significantly boosted the anticipation surrounding Vettaiyan.

During the audio event, the filmmakers also revealed a teaser, introducing Rajinikanth’s character as a celebrated encounter specialist. The movie is written and directed by TJ Gnanavel and is set to release in cinemas on October 10.
