    Kollywood’s very own Thala Ajith Kumar has returned to the F1 racing tracks after a long hiatus. The actor, known for his lifelong passion for racing, recently introduced his dedicated fans to his new racing team. Ajith was spotted at the renowned Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain, reigniting his love for the sport as he gears up for the 24H Series. Alongside Ajith Kumar, the photos also showcased three other members of the Ajith Kumar Racing team.

    While fans of the actor are thrilled to see their idol back on the tracks, it is the actor's best mate and fellow actor R. Madhavan who is especially excited to see him in racing gear. Madhavan shared a video of Ajith from the track and penned a sweet note ahead of the race. Calling him an "unbelievable and incredible man," R. Madhavan wrote:

    "Now this is the team I can’t wait to watch on the tracks... What an unbelievable and incredible man. He just goes after his dreams, no matter what… #AjithKumarRacing #AjithKumar."

    In the video, the actor is seen donning racing gear and posing with his personalized car, which features his name.

    Ajith’s racing history

    Thala Ajith is no stranger to the world of motorsports. The Thunivu star began his racing career in 2002, finishing fourth in the Formula Maruti Indian Championships, which led to his signing as a professional racing driver in 2003. That same year, he competed in the inaugural Formula BMW Asia Championship, finishing the season in 12th place.

    Now, as both a team owner and driver, Ajith is set to participate in the 24H Dubai 2025 and the European 24H Series Championship.

    Over the years, Ajith has showcased his skills in various racing events, including the MRF Racing series in 2010. He has competed on circuits across India, such as in Mumbai, Chennai, and Delhi, as well as on international tracks in Germany and Malaysia. Notably, he also raced in the Formula 2 Championship, sharing the grid with fellow Indian racers Armaan Ebrahim and Parthiva Sureshwaren.
