    Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna’s son Mokshagnya Nandamuri is all set to foray into Tollywood with Hanu-Man fame director Prasanth Varma's new film from his socio-fantasy cinematic universe PVCU.

    After teasing audiences with the next film in the mythological superhero franchise, Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), the makers have finally revealed that Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna’s son, Mokshagnya Nandamuri, will be making his debut in this Prasanth Varma directorial. On the star kid’s birthday, the makers of the upcoming project took to their social media pages to announce that Mokshagnya has been cast in the lead role of the upcoming fantasy superhero film.  

    Director Prasanth Varma shared the news with excitement, saying, “With great joy & privilege, Introducing you… ‘NANDAMURI TARAKA RAMA MOKSHAGNYA TEJA’ Happy birthday, Mokshu. Welcome to @ThePVCU.     For context, Prasanth Varma launched his socio-fantasy cinematic franchise with the 2023 blockbuster film Hanu-Man, starring Teja Sajja. The success of the film paved the way for the director to establish his own franchise, known as the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe. 

    For the past couple of days, the director had been teasing his new project with the intriguing hashtag 'Simba is coming.' Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas and presented by M. Tejeswini Nandamuri under the Legend Productions banner, this project marks the highly anticipated debut of Balakrishna’s son. 

    The makers also released a special birthday poster of Mokshagnya, showcasing the stylish and sleek look of the budding star. His striking appearance and confident pose have captured the attention of audiences, who are eager to witness ‘Simba’ make a powerful entry on the big screen. 

    PVCU 2 to begin filming soon?

    According to sources, the film is reportedly being made on a staggering budget of Rs 60 crore. The makers plan to kick off the project with a puja ceremony this month, with official shooting set to commence in October 2024. The new film will be a socio-fantasy rooted in Indian mythology, a genre that has gained immense popularity. Reports also suggest that the actor has undergone extensive training, including classes in acting, combat, and dance. More details about the project will be revealed soon.
