Prithviraj will be stepping in the shoes of a bad guy again in director Vipin Das' 'Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’

Prithviraj will be playing the villain in Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey director Vipn Das' upcoming movie Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil , where he will take in Basil Joseph .

In a recent interview actor, Baiju confirmed that he has also joined the project and that Prithviraj will be playing the bad guy.

Prithviraj is no stranger to playing a negative character, his performance as Laiq in the 2021 thriller Kuruthi was praised by critics and audiences alike.

The actor is also rumored to playing the main bad guy in director Prashanth Neel's Saalar, where will be facing off against Prabhas.

He will also be rumored to play the villain in the upcoming Bollywood movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, where he will act alongside Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.

As for ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil the movie is written by Deepu Pradeep, known for his work on movies like Priest and Kunjiramayanam.

Meanwhile, Prithivraj's most anticipated movie of the year will be survival-drama Aadujeevitham, directed by National Award winner Bleesy and is expected to hit theaters worldwide in the latter of 2023.

The movie is based on true events and production lasted five years, mainly due to the pandemic. The movie is expected to premiere at Cannes in June.

Prithviraj will also be directing the sequel to the 2019 Lucifer. The movie which starred Mohanlal and marked the actor's directorial debut is the highest-grossing Malayalam movie of all time.

Lucifer was made on a budget of 30 crores and managed to gross a massive 175 crores at the box office, the movie was produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas with a screenplay by Murali Gopi.

In a recent interview, director Prithviraj revealed that the movie saying that the movie will both be a prequel and sequel to 2019's Lucifer.

The movie will focus on how Stephen Nedumpally rose through the ranks of the international criminal underworld as well focus on the events that take place after the events of Lucifer.
