Prashanth on working with Thalapathy Vijay in The Greatest of All Time: 'We've known each other for a long time but...'

Actor Prashanth is buzzing with excitement about his upcoming film, The Greatest of All Time, where he shares the screen with superstar Thalapathy Vijay. In a recent interaction with fans on X, Prashanth expressed his admiration for the film's director, Venkat Prabhu, and his masterful screenplay. "It's a beautifully scripted movie," Prashanth shared, highlighting the depth and significance of each character in the narrative.

The actor promised audiences an "edge-of-the-seat thriller," thanks to the film's fast-paced storyline. "It's a pacy screenplay; you will not realize how the time flew by," he remarked, hinting at a gripping cinematic experience from start to finish.

Prashanth also fondly recalled the camaraderie he shared on set with co-stars Vijay and Prabhu Deva. Reflecting on their collaboration, he said, "All three of us just had a lot of fun dancing to that song (Whistle Podu). We didn't try to outshine each other. It was like three friends enjoying themselves at a party." He described their bond as akin to that of brothers, adding, "To put it simply, we (Vijay and I) have known each other for a long time, but working on this movie just strengthened our bond."

The actor also revealed that he joined the project after receiving a direct offer from Thalapathy Vijay himself, an invitation he found impossible to turn down.

In The Greatest of All Time, Prashanth takes on the role of a high-profile member of an elite spy agency, portraying a character who appears to be a loyal friend to Vijay's protagonist, as seen in the film's trailer. Billed as a sci-fi drama, the movie promises to deliver an exciting mix of action and intrigue.

The Greatest of All Time is set to hit the screens on September 5.
