Prabhas shares heartfelt note on his Salaar director Prashanth Neel's birthday, latter celebrates his special day with KGF-themed cake

KGF director Prashanth Neel turned a year older today. He celebrated his birthday with the film’s star Yash . Prabhas , who is presently working with Prashanth on his next Salaar also joined the birthday celebration as well as 50 days of KGF 2 . Prabhas also shared a heartwarming wish for his Salaar director Posting a happy picture with the director from the sets of their upcoming film and alongside he wrote, “Here's wishing a very Happy Birthday to you @prashanthneel! After delivering blockbuster hit KGF Chapter 2, Prashanth Neel is set to present another action-thriller featuring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan in the lead role. Disha Patani will also make a cameo appearance. Besides them, Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, and Easwari Rao also star in important roles.

Shruti also took to her Instagram stories and wrote a heartfelt message for Prashanth, who turned 42 today. Sharing a candid picture of herself with the director, she wrote, “Happy Birthday. Prashanth Neel. You are a gem. Wishing you the best of the best of the best for many years to come.” Have a look:

Salaar is set against the backdrop of an underworld action drama in which Prabhas features in a dark and violent avatar. The film is being bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films. According to Pinkvilla, the makers have already shot around 30 percent of the movie and preparing to complete the film by end of this year to get it ready for a summer 2023 release. Also, there have been rumours that the film will be a two-part franchise, but the makers refuse to confirm or deny the same. The film is being shot in Telugu and dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
