Pawan Kalyan praises Thalapathy Vijay's recent blockbuster movie
Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan, who has been busy with his growing political career, recently took a break to catch up on some movies he had missed.

Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan had an eventful year, growing in his political stature as a regional leader. His busy political duties kept him away from his film shoots and from watching new movies. However, he seems to have a long list of films to catch up on. Recently, he watched last year’s blockbuster Leo, starring Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay.
Cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa took to social media to reveal that he was overjoyed after being appreciated by Pawan for his work on the movie. "Big big fanboy moment watching #Kushi movie to holding his hands! His excellency @PawanKalyan sir, your humbleness and your appreciation for #Leo movie bowled me out. I am on cloud 9," tweeted Manoj.
Leo was the biggest-ever hit in Vijay’s career, grossing more than Rs 600 crore from its worldwide ticket sales. Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo was inspired by the Hollywood classic A History of Violence. The film is also part of Lokesh’s cinematic universe.
Manoj has been roped in to shoot the remaining portion of Pawan’s long-delayed historical drama, Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit. The film went on floors in 2019 but faced a series of obstacles slowing down its production. The first few schedules of shooting were led by director Krish Jagarlamudi, who is the writer and director of Hari Hara Veera Mallu. However, due to the repeated delays and Pawan’s commitment to pursuing his political aspirations, Krish moved on to other projects. The filmmakers have now brought in A. M. Jyothi Krishna to direct the remaining portion of the movie. Similarly, the movie was initially shot by cinematographer Gnana Shekar V. S., but now Manoj has been entrusted to complete the shooting.
According to reports, the producers are aiming to release Hari Hara Veera Mallu by the end of this year.
