    As announced earlier, Anupama Parameswaran’s upcoming Telugu film is titled Paradha. After unveiling the first-look poster of Anupama Parameswaran and Darshana Rajendran, the makers have now revealed the character of the third leading woman, Sangitha Krish, from the upcoming drama.

    Introducing Sangitha as Rathnamma, the makers released the first-look poster of the actress from the film. The new poster features Sangitha as a homemaker, with a simple look of a married woman. Draped in a blue saree and holding kitchen spatulas, the character exudes a friendly homemaker vibe. Check out the new poster here!

    Three distinctive characters in Paradha

    From the posters shared so far, all three leading actresses—Anupama Parameswaran, Darshana Rajendran, and Sangitha Krish—have been showcased in different avatars. While Anupama is depicted as a village girl with a Rajasthani look, Darshana’s character appears to be an architect. Sangitha’s character, meanwhile, hints at being a homemaker. Although the makers have been tight-lipped about the plotline of the film, the posters released so far have left viewers intrigued to learn more about the film.

    About Paradha

    Directed by Praveen Kandregula, who is known for his acclaimed film Cinema Bandi, the upcoming film promises to deliver solid drama addressing numerous social issues related to women. 

    According to the director, Paradha is a mythopoeic travel drama filmed across diverse locations, including Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, and rural areas near Hyderabad. The movie is described as a beautiful blend of spirituality and adventure and is expected to spark critical discussions about the limitations imposed on women in the name of love and protection. The team has reportedly completed 90 percent of the filming and will soon wrap up the shoot. More details about the film are expected to be disclosed soon. 

    On the technical front, Paradha features cinematographer Mridul Sujit Sen handling the camera work and popular music composer Gopi Sundar scoring the original background score and soundtrack. The film is set to be a bilingual release, made in both Telugu and Malayalam.
