    Actor Pankaj Tripathi has left the internet fixated as he dropped the first pictures from his next film which will be the biopic of late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Looking unrecognizable in the character portraits of ‘Main Atal Hoon’, Pankaj Tripathi finally shared the big news and the fans of the actor and the admirers of the politicians are both thrilled.

    Pankaj marked these new beginnings posting a humble note and shared that the project will arrive in cinemas in December 2023. In a tweet written in Hindi, Pankaj said he was honoured for the opportunity to play the former Prime Minister.

    The portraits shared by the actor as Atal Bihari Vajpayee reflected different facets of his personality. Bringing out the gentlemanly side, the poetic side, and even the political side of the former Prime Minister’s personality, Pankaj nailed each of the various looks. The biopic on Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be directed by National Award winning filmmaker Ravi Jadhav.

    Pankaj Tripathi’s Main Atal Hoon is the second biopic on a former Indian Prime Minister to have been lined up to release in 2023. Prior to Pankaj’s film, Kangana Ranaut has been in preparing shooting her film Emergency which is set on former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and is also slated release next year.

    Pankaj’s pictures from Main Atal Hoon have left his fans in awe of his ability to transform so effortlessly into character. They are confident that the actor will do justice to the role and also expressed their shock to see how unrecognizable he looks in the posters.

    25 December marks the birthday anniversary of the late Prime Minister who died in August 2018. The announcement of his biopic on this special day seems to have certainly struck a chord with his followers.
