    Ahead of the release of Dhanush’s 50th and second directorial film, Raayan, the makers have dropped another single. Titled 'Oh Raaya', the song is composed by AR Rahman, who has also lent his voice to the song along with Ganavya Duraisamy. The lyrics have been penned by Dhanush.

    The new song explores emotional bonds and the good times that lie ahead for the protagonist, played by Dhanush. The song's poster features actor-director Selvaraghavan and Dhanush, who appear to be playing a father-son duo in the film. 

    Fans have been showering love on the new song, calling it one of the best compositions made for the Tamil star.

    Earlier, the makers of the film released an intriguing trailer for Dhanush film, promising a gripping tale of revenge and secrets. The trailer begins with Selvaraghavan's character telling a young Raayan, "The most dangerous animal in the jungle is not the lion or tiger; it's a wolf."

    The trailer suggests that the film will be an action-packed revenge saga, featuring Dhanush as a gangster who locks horns with SJ Suryah's character. Fans, who have been eager to see Dhanush in a gritty role of a man hailing from North Madras after Vada Chennai, are excited to witness his performance on screen soon.

    Raayan is Dhanush’s second directorial venture after the 2017 film Pa Pandi. The film, touted as a gangster drama, stars Dhanush in the lead role, with Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, and Dushara Vijayan in key roles. The movie also stars Prakash Raj, SJ Suryah, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Aparna Balamurali in prominent roles.

    Raayan is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 26, 2024.
