NBK 109 first glimpse: Nandamuri Balakrishna promises an intriguing action thriller | Watch the entry of ‘merciless, fearless demon’

Happy Birthday, Nandamuri Balakrishna! The makers of the Telugu superstar’s upcoming film, NBK 109, have released a new glimpse from the movie. Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bobby Kolli have joined forces for NBK 109, which is touted to be an action thriller.

The new clip features a man saying that God is kind and grants everyone's wishes. He then asks for a man who is merciless and fearless. The glimpse then introduces Balayya’s character, who walks into a railway station in his signature style. The new glimpse also showcases Balakrishna's fierce look, and with Thaman’s energetic score, the hype around the film has just increased. 

When the makers earlier announced an update about the film, fans expected the title to be revealed. However, the first look of the actor and the glimpse from the film has turned out to be the best treat for Balayya fans across the globe. It looks like the makers will soon release other exciting updates about the film.

NBK 109 cast

Directed by Bobby Kolli, the upcoming film is set to star Malayalam heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan in a pivotal role, while Animal star Bobby Deol is the antagonist. Sources say that Dulquer will play Balayya’s son and that his character is special. With Shine Tom Chacko’s addition, the upcoming Telugu action-drama has another Malayalam actor. The film is backed by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinema banners and is also being presented by Srikara Studios.

On the occasion of Sankranthi, Netflix revealed that the OTT giant had secured the digital rights for Nandamuri Balakrishna's film. The movie will, hence, be available for streaming on the platform after its theatrical release.

Will Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi's films clash at Sankranthi 2025?

Telugu veteran superstars Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi have been ruling the Tollywood industry for more than three decades. Now that Chiranjeevi has announced the release of Vishwambhara on Sankranthi 2025, there are high chances of Balakrishna’s NBK 109 clashing with the former’s fantasy flick. However, NBK 109 is still under production, and the makers are yet to make an official confirmation on the same.
