Naslen is all set to play a gritty boxer in Khalid Rahman’s next | Check out new pic

Premalu star Naslen has become one of the most promising young stars of the current generation, and his movies have been creating a huge buzz among audiences. As announced earlier, the actor is currently shooting for his upcoming untitled project with director and Manjummel Boys-fame actor Khalid Rahman.

Recently, a picture of the actor from the set has been going viral on social media platforms. The new picture showcases the actor donning a boxer’s outfit and is seen inside a boxing ring. The new picture has sent fans into a frenzy, who are eagerly anticipating to witness the actor in an intense role, unlike his chocolate boy avatar in Premalu. 

Many fans, who heaped praise on the actor’s intense performance in the 2021 Prithviraj-starrer Kuruthi, are hoping that the actor will don a similarly gritty role for his next. Many also believe that the actor should not be typecast in light-hearted roles, as he has the potential to essay serious roles. While the makers have kept the plot under wraps, it is clear that the film might revolve around boxing, with the main protagonist, Naslen’s character, playing a boxer. 

Interestingly, the makers had earlier unveiled a making-of video from the set, which revealed director Khalid Rahman directing lead actors Lukman and Naslen at a set that looks like a boxing match. More details about the film will be revealed soon. 

Naslen-Lukman-Khalid Rahman Project

Naslen Gafoor and Lukman Avaran will headline this new Malayalam project, directed by Khalid Rahman. The dialogues for the film are penned by Ratheesh Ravi of Ishq fame, while the screenplay is written by Khalid. Billed as a sports comedy, the untitled film also features Ganapathi, Sandeep Pradeep, Anagha Ravi, Franco Francis, Baby Jean, Shiva Hariharan, Shon Joy, Karthik, and Nanda Nishanth in key roles. The film is being co-produced by Khalid, Jobin George, Sameer Karat, and Subeesh Kannachery under the banner of Plan B Motion Pictures.
