Many X (formerly Twitter) users were thrilled by the gripping revenge drama crafted by the makers. One user wrote, "#MURA, Malayalam - Review : Brilliant. Another script-driven thriller from Kappela-fame director #musthafaactor. It’s a gritty tale of friendship, greed, revenge, and redemption set against a Trivandrum milieu with a detour to Madurai. @hridhuharoon as one of the hot-tempered youngsters is terrific and makes an impact, especially in the 2nd half of the film along with other new faces. #SurajVenjaramoodu and @maalaparvathi1 are superb."
