Mura trailer OUT: Hridhu Haroon, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Co. promise a wild action ride

The wait is over! The trailer for the Suraj Venjaramoodu-starrer Mura has finally been unveiled. Directed by Muhammed Musthafa of Kappela fame, the upcoming movie features Kani Kusruti, Maala Parvathi, Kannan Nayar, Hridhu Haroon, and Suraj Venjaramoodu in prominent roles.

Sharing the new trailer, the makers wrote on social media, "Aaaand it’s finally out! Get ready for a wild ride with the boys of Mura @hridhuharoon & #surajvenjaramoodu. Action, grit, and pure intensity from the director of Kappela @musthafa__actor. You’ll regret it if you miss it!" The trailer was launched by Vijay Sethupathi and Tovino Thomas.

The new trailer builds on the teaser, showing four boys recruited by Suraj Venjaramoodu's character for a heist. However, things take a turn when they get caught, forcing them to find a way to escape. The trailer offers a mix of thrilling, high-octane action with elements of humor, making it a promising watch. Judging by the accent and setting, the film appears to be based in Thiruvananthapuram, where the characters are from. Suraj seems to be playing a character with shades of grey, while Hridhu portrays a bold and impulsive young man, one of the four in the group.

Mura is written by Suresh Babu and produced by Riya Shibu under HR Pictures. Alongside the lead cast, the film features performances from Kani Kusruti, Maala Parvathi, Kannan Nayar, Jobin Das, Annujith Kannan, Yedhu Krishna, Vigneshwar Suresh, Krish Hassan, Siby Joseph, and others. On the technical side, Fazil Nassar handles the cinematography, Chaman Chakko is in charge of editing, and Midhun Mukundan has composed the original soundtrack and background score.

Earlier, the film was scheduled for an October 18 release but was later postponed. A new release date has yet to be announced.
