Mura Teaser: Suraj Venjaramoodu and Hridhu Haroon shine in this heist drama

    Kappela-fame director Muhammed Musthafa is all set to present his next film, titled Mura. The makers of the upcoming Malayalam actioner dropped an intriguing teaser of the film today. The makers shared the new glimpse and wrote, “Immerse yourself in the captivating world of Mura. Check out the thrilling first look teaser now!” The upcoming film stars Suraj Venjaramoodu and Hridhu Haroon in the lead roles.

    The new teaser begins with Suraj’s character telling someone that there is some cash at a certain place, but since it's black money, they will need to sneak in to get it. The teaser then cuts to Hridhu and his four-member gang, a group of youngsters helping Suraj’s team retrieve the money without raising the suspicion of the cops. The glimpse then showcases a series of stylish fight sequences, with the teaser ending with Suraj’s voiceover saying, “Let them grow, they are kids after all.” 

    The intriguing teaser has been loved by fans, who cannot wait to see what director Muhammed Musthafa has created for audiences. Although the teaser does not reveal much about the storyline, it is clear that the film revolves around a heist mission involving Suraj’s character using the four youngsters as pawns to accomplish his goal. Suraj seems to be playing a grey-shaded character, while Hridhu, who portrays one of the four youngsters in the group, plays a hot-blooded, risk-taking young lad.

    Mura is scripted by Suresh Babu and produced by Riya Shibu's HR Pictures. Besides the lead cast, the film also features Kani Kusruti, Maala Parvathi, Kannan Nayar, Jobin Das, Annujith Kannan, Yedhu Krishna, Vigneshwar Suresh, Krish Hassan, and Siby Joseph, among others. On the technical side, the cinematography is handled by Fazil Nassar, editing is done by Chaman Chakko, and the original soundtrack and background score are composed by Midhun Mukundan. 

    A release date for the film is yet to be announced. 

    Hridhu Haroon, who was previously seen in the Cannes Grand Prix-winning film All We Imagine as Light, will now be seen in Mura.
