Mrunal Thakur extends birthday wishes to co-star Dulquer Salmaan; Ram Garu replies to Sita

Sita Ramam is one of the most celebrated Telugu romantic dramas, and the leading pair, Mrunal Thakur and Dulquer Salmaan’s magical onscreen chemistry, won all our hearts. Mrunal Thakur, who calls herself the ‘President of the Dulquer Salmaan Fan Club,’ recently took to her social media pages to pen a heartfelt note celebrating Dulquer’s birthday. 

On the Malayalam star’s birthday, Mrunal shared a sweet still from their blockbuster film Sita Ramam and wrote on her IG story, “There's just so much to say and express that I don't know how to pen it down here! I'm grateful for the countless times you've uplifted my spirit, Ram garu! You walk so humbly with so much kindness, which never goes unnoticed. I'm your biggest fan, your biggest cheerleader. Happy Birthday, D! Have a blockbuster year.”

Mrunal Thakur fangirling over Dulquer Salmaan

Actress Mrunal Thakur has several times expressed her admiration for her Sita Ramam co-star Dulquer Salmaan. During an earlier interview, she called Dulquer a ‘god’s child’ and credited him as a reason for her not quitting Telugu cinema after Sita Ramam. “He is so dedicated and not afraid of the language. I remember I told him in Kashmir, ‘Sita Ramam is my first and last film in Telugu. I will not do any more Telugu films.’ He just looked at me and said, ‘We’ll see.’ I think one of the reasons why I am today considering Tamil films or Kannada films is probably because of him,” she said. 

Dulquer replied to her IG story and wrote, "Aww !!! Thank you for the kindest note M! This is such a sweet picture and the SR score always makes me emo! Also right back at you ! Always rooting for you! Lots of Love (sic)
