    Following the success of Guruvayoor Amabalanadayil, Anaswara Rajan is all set to mesmerise audiences with her charm in her next film. Titled Mr. & Mrs. Bachelor, the first look poster from the upcoming film was recently unveiled by the makers. The film is headlined by Indrajith Sukumaran and Anaswara Rajan in their maiden collaboration.

    The makers of the film took to their social media handles to share the first look poster, which features a vibrant and quirky image of Anaswara Rajan in a bridal gown. The actress is seen leaning onto a newlywed’s car, decorated with flowers. 

    She is also seen wearing a pair of shades and holding a blue umbrella. Interestingly, on the windshield of the car, we can see the names ‘Stephy and Sijin’ written, hinting at the names of the lead characters in the film. 

    Overall, the new poster suggests a fun and entertaining romantic comedy for Malayali audiences to enjoy in cinemas soon.

    Scriptwriter Arjun T. Sathyan on the premise of Mr. & Mrs. Bachelor

    Arjun, who has penned the screenplay for the upcoming drama, revealed that Mr. & Mrs. Bachelor is a road trip romantic comedy with an essence like the cult classic Bollywood film Jab We Met (2007). The writer also emphasised that in the upcoming Malayalam film, the central characters will spend most of their time inside a car.

    The film is directed by Deepu Karunakaran, who is known for Crazy Gopalan (2008) and Teja Bhai & Family (2011). Besides the lead cast, the film also features Dayyana Hameed, Rosin Jolly, Biju Pappan, Rahul Madhav, Sohan Seenulal, Manohari Joy, Jibin Gopinath, and Laya Simpson as part of the supporting cast. 

    On the technical front, the cinematography is handled by Pradeep Nair, editing by Sobin Soman, and the music for the film is scored by composer PS Jayahari.

    The film will hit the big screens on August 23, 2024.
