After announcing the collaboration earlier, filmmaker Selvaraghavan and composer-turned-actor GV Prakash Kumar’s upcoming film, titled Mental Manadhil, has officially gone on floors. The makers of the film began shooting with an auspicious puja ceremony attended by the cast and crew.
Sharing pictures from the puja ceremony, the makers wrote, “#MentalManadhil shoot kicks off with a blessed pooja ceremony. Stay tuned for exciting updates! ✨A @gvprakash starrer & musical 🌟🎶A @selvaraghavan film 🎬.”

Directed by Selvaraghavan, the film is billed as a musical love story and marks the first collaboration between GV Prakash and Selvaraghavan, with the composer playing the lead role. GV Prakash Kumar will also be scoring the original background score and soundtracks for the film. Notably, GV Prakash previously composed music for Selvaraghavan’s films Aayirathil Oruvan and Mayakkam Enna.
On the technical front, the film includes Arun Radhakrishnan as the cinematographer and R.K. Vijaimurugan as the art director. Editing is managed by Balaji, while Dinesh Guna takes on the role of executive producer. The makers have not yet announced a release date for the film.

In Hindi, he will be composing music for Akshay Kumar's Sky Force and Kangana Ranaut's Emergency.
