Mechanic Rocky release date: Here's when Vishwak Sen’s upcoming action drama will hit the big screen

Telugu actor Vishwak Sen’s upcoming film Mechanic Rocky has locked its release date. Taking to social media, the makers announced that the film will have a solo release on November 22, 2024, with the trailer to be released on October 20, 2024.

Sharing the new update with a new poster of the lead actors, the makers wrote, “Malakpet Chowraasta lo kaluddam. By the way apun ka naam ROCKY aka RAKESH Trailer October 20th.” Interestingly, the film was initially planned to release on October 31, 2024, coinciding with Diwali, however now the film has been postponed further.

The new poster features Vishwak Sen, the leading man in his swag avatar, while his two female interests–Meenakshi Chaudhary and Shraddha Srinath in their respective roles. Check out the new update here:

Mechanic Rocky, is headlined by Vishwak Sen, and features Meenakshi Choudhary as the female lead, while Shraddha Srinath plays a prominent role. Meenakshi plays Vishwak's love interest, while Shraddha’s character is rumored to have a negative twist, according to fan speculation.

The film is reportedly based on real-life events involving people who exploit fake accidents and motor insurance claims for profit. Earlier, the first-look poster of Vishwak from Mechanic Rocky was unveiled on his birthday, showing him in a stylish avatar, striking a mischievous pose with a wrench and a cigarette.

Directed and written by Ravi Teja Mullapudi, who makes his debut after working as an assistant director in Tollywood, the film also stars Naresh, Viva Harsha, Harshavardhan, and Roadies fame Raghu Ram in important roles.

On the technical side, the music and background score is composed by popular Malayalam composer Jakes Bejoy. Manoj Katasani is in charge of cinematography, with Anwar Ali handling the editing. The stunt sequences are choreographed by Supreme Sundar. The movie is produced by Ram Talluri of SRT Entertainment.
