The first-look poster for the Unni Mukundan-starrer Marco has been released. The Malayalam film’s makers shared the intense poster on their social media handles, featuring the leading man in a ruthless killer avatar.

The new poster depicts Unni in a terrifying, blood-soaked appearance, and holding a bloodied knife in his mouth. He gives an intense stare, hinting at a brutal murder sequence. He is seen with slicked-back hair and an all-black outfit. The menacing new poster has immediately grabbed the attention of fans, who are eager to watch the unravelling of the ruthless killer’s backstory.
For the unversed, the crime thriller Marco is a spin-off of the 2019 Nivin Pauly-starrer Mikhael. Marco is also said to be the first Indian film to feature a villain making a comeback as a hero in a spin-off.
Sharing the intriguing first-look poster, the makers wrote, “When their REASONS ended, His KNIFE began #Marco #KillingSoon.”

Directed by Haneef Adeni, Marco will see Unni reprising his role as Marco Jr., a cold-blooded gangster. While Nivin Pauly’s Mikhael revolved around his character trying to save his sister from an attack by Marco’s brother, the ruthless villain Marco Jr. seeks vengeance for his brother’s death.
The upcoming film is said to be one of the big-budget action films and will mark the highest-budget film in Unni Mukundan's career. KGF's composer Ravi Basrur has scored a terrific background score and soundtrack for the film.
Marco star cast
The upcoming film is notable not only for its budget but also for featuring a new face with a familiar surname - Abhimanyu Shammy Thilakan, the grandson of the legendary actor Thilakan and son of Shammi Thilakan.
Apart from Unni Mukundan and Abhimanyu, the film also stars Siddique, Jagadish, Anson Paul, and Kabir Duhan Singh in key roles. Yukti Thareja of Lut Gaye song fame will be playing the female lead. On the technical front, the camera work is handled by Chandru Selvaraj, and the movie is produced by Sharif Muhammad and Abdul Ghadaf under the banners of Cubes Entertainments in association with Unni Mukundan Films.
