Unni Mukundan’s latest Marco has been making huge waves at the box office after its theatrical debut recently. Directed by Haneef Adeni, the movie is a spin-off of the 2019 Nivin Pauly-starrer Mikhael and is described as the most violent film made in Malayalam cinema. Here’s how much the film has minted at the worldwide box office on day one.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film raked in approximately ₹4.21 crore at the box office, with most of its collection coming from Kerala, its home market. Despite Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 dominating screens—which resulted in Marco receiving fewer screens—the film managed to earn around ₹10.8 crore at the worldwide box office. The movie has been receiving an overwhelming response from Malayalee audiences, enjoying a high occupancy rate despite being certified as an "A-rated" film, allowing only viewers aged 18 and above. Given the positive reception, the film is expected to post impressive numbers in the coming days.

However, some noted shortcomings in the script and the supporting cast.
