Manamey Trailer: What are Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty doing with a child in London?

The trailer for Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty starrer Manamey is here. Telugu star Ram Charan took to his social media handles to share the trailer, which has all the ingredients for a perfect family drama. The trailer begins with the three central characters—Sharwanand, Krithi Shetty, and young actor Vikram Adittya—who are seen travelling on a flight. Sharwanand flirtatiously asks the flight attendant for her number, while Krithi looks disinterested. This scene suggests that both of them are single and are the carers of a young boy played by Vikram.

The trailer then takes us through a series of events set in London, where Sharwanand and Krithi's characters are seen taking care of the child. While not everything is revealed, the glimpse shows their efforts to look after the boy, who is clearly not their own. There are emotional moments where Sharwanand and Krithi argue over familial issues and this shows us that Manamey will be a heartwarming and entertaining movie.

Sharwanand plays a charming and goofy character, while Krithi is a mature and elegant carer. Although the film might remind viewers of the Hollywood movie Life As We Know It (2010), it seems like director Sriram Adittya is narrating more than just the story as seen in the English film. Overall, the film promises to be a fun, emotional romantic drama that can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.

Manamey revolves around three main characters played by Sharwanand, Krithi Shetty and Sriram Adittya's son, Vikram Adittya. Besides the lead cast, Seerat Kapoor, Ayesha Khan, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Rahul Ravindran are part of the supporting cast.

The music for the film is scored by Hridayam's composer, Hesham Abdul Wahab. On the technical front, the movie’s cinematography is handled by Vishnu Sharma and Gnana Shekar VS. Prawin Pudi is the editor, and Jonny Shaik is the art director. 

Manamey is slated to have a worldwide release on June 7, 2024.
