While speaking to ETimes recently, Malaika opened up about Arjun's viral comment. She said that she would not like to put her personal life in public. She said, "I am a very private person, and there are certain aspects of my life which I don’t want to elaborate on much. I will never choose a public platform to talk about my personal life. So, whatever Arjun has said is entirely his prerogative."
What did Arjun Kapoor say at an event?
For those who are unaware, Arjun Kapoor reacted to his relationship status at a promotional event of Singham Again. When the crowd was heard asking about Malaika, he said, "Abhi single hoon main, relax." In no time, the video of Arjun went viral on the internet. Malaika and Arjun dated each other for quite some time. They made their relationship official in 2019 by dropping pictures from their Maldivian vacay. Though they were quite serious about their relationship but Arjun, during his appearance on Koffee With Karan, said that he was not ready to take it to the next level, while referring to their wedding.
Despite parting ways, Arjun was seen supporting Malaika recently after her dad allegedly died by suicide at their residence in Bandra.
Meanwhile, Arjun is currently enjoying the love and appreciation that's coming his way for his performance in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. He was seen in a villainous avatar opposite Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Deepika Padukone. The film will soon be available on Prime Video.
