Lucky Baskhar title track: Dulquer Salmaan impresses as a charming banker in new song | Watch

Happy Birthday, Dulquer Salmaan! On the special occasion of South icon Dulquer Salmaan’s birthday, fans have been treated to several updates from his various projects. Team Lucky Baskhar has also not disappointed fans, as the makers of Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming Telugu scam drama unveiled the title track from the film.

The new song, composed by National Award-winning composer GV Prakash Kumar, is an upbeat vintage-themed number describing the life of a middle-class banker played by Dulquer Salmaan. The lyrical video has impressed viewers with the actor's suave appearance. The song has taken over the internet and is sure to be loved by viewers when it comes to the big screen soon! The track is available in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi, and is crooned by Usha Uthup. The lyrics have been penned by Ramajogayya Sastry.

Lucky Baskhar plot

Helmed by Vaathi-fame director Venky Atluri, Lucky Baskhar revolves around a financial scam. Meenakshi Chaudhary of Guntur Kaaram fame is playing the female lead. This pan-India film is being made in multiple languages. 

Earlier, the makers of Lucky Baskhar unveiled the teaser, which featured Dulquer playing a common man who works as a bank employee at Magadha Bank. His boring and mundane middle-class life changes overnight when he makes lakhs of rupees through a scam. What happens when he finds this unexpected fortune forms the crux of the story. The teaser has very well kept the plotline under wraps and hints at an entertaining drama set in the 80s.

Dulquer’s other projects in the pipeline

Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan, who is now a rising star in Tollywood, has a couple of projects in his kitty. Besides Lucky Baskhar, the actor also has filmmaker Pavan Sadineni's new project Aakasam Lo Oka Tara and pan-Indian project Kantha alongside Rana Daggubati in his pipeline. The actor was last seen in a cameo appearance in Prabhas’ magnum opus Kalki 2898 AD.
