Lucky Baskhar: First single from Dulquer Salmaan-starrer to be out on THIS date

Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming Telugu drama, Lucky Baskhar, has been one of the most anticipated releases. The film's release date has been the subject of discussion lately due to its clash with other major releases, such as Jr NTR’s Devara. Even as we await an official word on this, the makers have made an announcement regarding the film's first single.

On the special occasion of composer GV Prakash Kumar’s birthday, the makers of the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer announced that the first single from Lucky Baskhar will be out on June 17. “The musical journey of Lucky Baskhar begins from 17.06.24” the team said, sharing a pic of composer GV Prakash. The Tamil composer has scored the original background score and soundtrack for the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer.

Lucky Baskhar-Devara box office clash

As reported earlier, Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming film Lucky Baskhar is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 27, 2024. However, earlier today, the makers of Jr NTR’s upcoming action drama Devara announced that the film has been moved up to September 27, 2024. Originally set for release on October 10, the date was changed to avoid a possible clash with Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan at the box office.

Jr NTR’s film has been one of the most anticipated among Telugu cinephiles, and given the star’s popularity, Dulquer Salmaan’s film might face competition in the Telugu regions. Considering Dulquer had a major flop last year with the failure of King of Kotha, he has pinned all his hopes on this upcoming Telugu film. However, the clash with another superstar’s film might affect its business. Fans, though, are hopeful of avoiding the clash and wish for both films to do well at the box office. 

Helmed by Vaathi director Venky Atluri, Lucky Baskhar revolves around a financial scam. Meenakshi Chaudhary of Guntur Kaaram-fame is playing the female lead. This pan-India film is being made in multiple languages.
