    Amaran

    Release date: October 31, 2024

    Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Amaran features Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi in their maiden collaboration. The movie is based on the inspirational story of the late Major Mukund Varadarajan, an Ashok Chakra recipient who was martyred during the Qazipathri Operation in Shopian in 2014. The film is loosely adapted from the non-fiction book India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes. Sai Pallavi plays Indhu Rebecca Varghese, Major Mukund's wife. Produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, the movie features music by G.V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Ch. Sai, and editing by R. Kalaivanan.

    Bloody Beggar

    Directed by debutant Sivabalan Muthukumar, the film stars Kavin, who takes on the role of a beggar. Produced under filmmaker Nelson Dilipkumar's production house, Filament Pictures, the film chronicles the life of the beggar whose world turns upside down after a misadventure.

    Brother

    Directed by M. Rajesh, Brother marks Jayam Ravi's return to family entertainers after a long hiatus. This bilingual film, shot in Tamil and Telugu, revolves around a carefree man and his family. Priyanka Mohan plays Ravi's love interest, while Bhumika Chawla, Saranya Ponvannan, Natty, Seetha, Achyuth, and Rao Ramesh are part of the supporting cast. Bankrolled by Screen Scene Media Entertainment, the film features music composed by the acclaimed Harris Jayaraj.

    Mechanic Rocky

    Directed by Ravi Teja Mullapudi, this Telugu film stars Vishwak Sen and is inspired by real-life events involving people who exploit fake accidents and motor insurance claims for profit. The film also features Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, with Shraddha Srinath in a prominent role. The supporting cast includes Naresh, Viva Harsha, Harsha Vardhan, and Roadies-fame Raghu Ram. Produced by Ram Talluri of SRT Entertainment, the music and background score are composed by popular Malayalam composer Jakes Bejoy.

    Directed by Venky Atluri, Lucky Bhaskar follows the journey of Dulquer Salmaan's character, a bank employee at Magadha Bank. His life changes overnight when he makes a fortune through a scam. The film is a rags-to-riches story packed with commercial elements. Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead in this pan-India film, which will be released in multiple languages including Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi.

    Bagheera

    Directed by Dr Suri and written by KGF-fame filmmaker Prashanth Neel, this Kannada film stars Sriimurali and Rukmini Vasanth in lead roles. Billed as an action thriller, Bagheera follows the life of a man who fights against injustice. Produced by Hombale Films, the film also features Prakash Raj, Rangayana Raghu, Achyut Kumar, and Garuda Ram in key roles.
