The recent report suggests that social media sensation Orry aka Orhan Awatramani has joined the team of Love & War. Not only that, SLB's heroine and new mom Deepika Padukone is also expected to make a special appearance in the film.

Recently, Ranbir and Alia's retro looks from the set of Love & War went viral on social media and their fans couldn't stop gushing over them. The real-life couple will be seen together for the second time after their hit film, Brahmastra. Amid the excitement, the fresh report suggests that Orry has joined the cast. A while ago, India Today reported that Orry, who is often seen partying with top celebs, will be seen portraying a homosexual character. He will be seen as Alia’s closest friend in the film. The report also says that Deepika, who welcomed her daughter Dua in September 2024, will be seen in a special appearance. Details about her character haven't been revealed yet.
Deepika and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have previously worked on films like Goliyon Ki Raasleela, Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmaavat. Well, it will be interesting to see how Bhansali showcases the starry cast on the big screen!
Meanwhile, Love & War was earlier slated to release in 2025. But recently, the makers postponed the film and announced that it will now hit theatres in March 2026. In a recent interview, the Black director cleared the air surrounding his film. He confirmed that Love & War is not a remake of Raj Kapoor's Sangam. He told The Hollywood Reporter India, "You should not remake Sholay or Mother India. So, why would I remake Sangam?"
