Amala Paul and Asif Ali in Level Cross Teaser

The teaser begins with a shot of a railway track in an abandoned place. Later, Asif Ali’s character is introduced, who appears in a rugged and gritty look. He then tells Amala Paul’s character about a village that lost its residents to a ghost, to which Amala says she's more scared of humans than ghosts. The teaser then showcases glimpses of Sharafudheen, who is seated at what appears to be a hospital in an urban setting. It appears that Asif Ali might be playing a negative-shade character and the film is set to revolve around the three central characters. Overall, the teaser exudes mysterious vibes and promises to be an engaging yet compelling mystery thriller.

This is also the second collaboration between Amala Paul and Asif Ali who last shared screen space in the 2011 Malayalam film Ithu Nammude Katha.

The earlier released first-look poster of the film featured a devilishly smiling Asif Ali along with a distressed-looking Amala Paul and Sharafudheen. Arfaz has also penned the screenplay of the film. According to the director, the film is set in an imaginary place. “Level Cross portrays a unique character set in an imaginary place, shot mainly in Tunisia,” he revealed.

On the technical front, the film has camera work handled by Appu Prabhakar, music composed by Vishal Chandrashekhar and editing handled by Deepu Joseph. Ramesh P Pillai is bankrolling the film with Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films handling the distribution.
