Leo: Vijay Sethupathi has the perfect response on his rumored cameo in the Vijay starrer
Could Vijay Sethupathi's Santhanam make a return in Leo?
Vijay Sethupathi
Recently Vijay Sethupathi was asked about his rumored cameo in the upcoming Leo. The movie will be the third installment in Lokesh Kangaraj Universe (LCU) after Kaithi and Vikram.
Vijay Sethupathi who played the role of the druglord Santhanam in Vikram simply responded by saying "Never Say Die".
Interesting choice of words, considering that his character was killed by Agent Vikram at the end of the movie. So, it will be interesting to see if or how his character returns.
The first possibility would be a flashback sequence, the other would be that the character will simply be resurrected like the character of Anbudoss after his apparent death in Kaithi.
According to a new report Vijay's upcoming action entertainer Leo is expected to break the international records set by his first movie of 2023 Varisu.
Varisu earned a total of 314 crores at the box office this year making it the highest-grossing Vijay movie of all time and this has encouraged foreign companies to offer around 70 crores for the distribution rights for Leo.
The visual effects for the movie will be handled by Moving Picture Company, which has worked on Oscar-nominated Hollywood movies like Blade Runner 2049 and 1917.
Making Leo the third Indian movie the studio has worked on after the Telugu blockbuster RRR and the Bollywood horror-comedy Bhediya.
There has been a lot of speculation about the plot of the movie and there is a rumor that the movie has a similar plot to the 2005 Hollywood action movie 'A History of Violence'.
In which a family man is forced to confront this violent past after he encounters someone from his old life as a gangster.
The movie is produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the banner Seven Screen Studio and reportedly has a budget of 300 crores.
Leo will hit theaters worldwide on 20 October 2023.
