Ahead of its release, Aamir Khan Productions next film Laapataa Ladies got a special screening in Mumbai last night. Starring Sparsh Shrivastava, Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta and Ravi Kishan, the comedy drama marks Kiran Rao’s comeback to the director’s chair after Dhobi Ghat. The film follows the story of a groom who loses his bride in a train and by mistake brings another newlywed woman home. Well, the screening last night was a grand starry affair attended by several Bollywood celebs including Salman Khan, Sunny Deol and Kajol along with Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan and her husband Nupur Shikhare.
Well, many of these celebs have now shared their honest review of Laapataa Ladies, urging movie lovers to catch the film as soon as it arrives in theatres. For instance, South superstar Adivi Sesh tweeted: “#LaapataaLadies Gosh! What a sweet film. Meanwhile Ira’s husband Nupur shared a picture of the screen calling Kiran ‘great’. Konkona Sensharma, on the other hand, wrote: “What a wonderful film you have made @raodyness!! So funny and wise and profound- am stunned! Don't miss this in the theatres people, you'll love it!!” Other celebs who gave the film a shoutout on social media are actress Kajol and filmmaker Aanand L. Rai.
