Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Box Office Day 6: Salman Khan starrer sees a further drop in collections, might spell bad news for the family entertainer
Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan saw a dip in the box office collections on its sixth day.
The Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan had opened to dismal collections at the box office with just minting Rs 15 crore. However, the family entertainer had witnessed an impressive growth as the days progressed. But even Bhai’s charm is not saving the film from witnessing drops in the collections since its fifth and sixth days.
On Wednesday (April 26), the movie saw another dip in its collections. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan garnered only Rs 5 crore on its sixth day which is making it move at a snail’s pace to enter the Rs 100 crore mark. The film’s total collections now stand at Rs 87.15 crore. Now, it depends on how the Salman Khan starrer picks up its speed in the upcoming days so that it quickly amasses Rs 100 crore.
The film also had an occupancy of 9.46% on Wednesday. A news report in Box Office India stated that Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will only emerge as an ‘average’ at the box office unless it picks up speed in its second week. The report stated, “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has gone down another leg on Wednesday as it looks at another drop of 30% approx. This was likely as the collections in some parts were still inflated on Tuesday but those have come down to more neutral levels. It is basically a level playing field now barring maybe 3-5% of the market and this should mean the collections stabilize a little from here on and there should be better results on Thursday as far as the drop is concerned. The drop on Wednesday also means the film is going to be AVERAGE on a best-case scenario and for that, there is work to be done over the second week."
The movie also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead role. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan also marked the debut of Shehnaaz Gill and Palak Tiwari. The Salman Khan starrer also has a cameo by South sensation Ram Charan.
