Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan BO prediction: Salman Khan starrer witnesses average advance booking, expected to earn this much on Day 1
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan marks Salman’s return to the big screen after his cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan.
Ever since Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was announced, fans were eager to know about each detail of the movie. After the makers released the first poster, teaser and trailer, the craze among fans increased manifold. The film promises a family entertainer with all elements of action, romance and drama at its core. Despite this, the advance booking numbers don’t seem impressive as only 50 000 tickets have been sold so far. However, trade experts predict it to have an opening collection better than the recently released Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and Bholaa.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan marks Salman’s return to the big screen after his cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan. Not only this, the superstar has sported different looks in the movie. And the songs Yentamma and Naiyo Lagda have already struck a chord with fans. According to Exhibitor Akshaye Rathi, the film has tremendous potential as it has created a huge buzz among fans. “Salman Khan and Eid is a very good combination. We are seeing it after a few years this time around because of Covid. The film has tremendous potential. It has created a good craze among fans. The only thing to see now is whether the content is good. The Day 1 collection should be around Rs 15 crore at the domestic box office,” he told India Today.
As Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is loosely inspired by Ajith’s 2014 film Veeram, trade expert Taran Adarsh opined that the film’s business may be affected owing to being a remake. He believed that Salman should do more of the original film given his stature. Meanwhile, helmed by Farhad Samjhi, the film also stars Bhumika Chawla, Venkatesh, Raghav Juyal, Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, Palak Tiwari and others. Bankrolled by Salman Khan Films, the film is set to hit theatres tomorrow i.e April 21, 2023.
